Reflection
This class helped me sharpen my public speaking skills. One of the most important things I learned is that adapting to your audience is one of the best tools a public speaker has. To have a outline that does not allow you to vary from what you had planned to adapt to you audience in not the most effective way to relate to your audience. Establishing credibility is another way to relate to your audience. Whether is it primary or secondary, a speaker needs to have credibility or they will not have the same effect on their audience. I am more confident with public speaking after taking this class.
